Life review- A flashback of a person's life that is typically associated with near-death experiences. But in Developmental Psychology it is also a thoughtful review of a persons life in the works. It doesn't have to be associated with near death experience. Valuable questions are used as a way to meditate on where you have been and where you want to go.
Here are some life review questions to use yourself.
- What is working in your life right now, and what not so well?
- What are the challenges or changes you want to make?
- How much time do you spend on those things that are important to you?
- What are you currently spending time on that you would rather not?
- What was the last time you had a "yes" moment and what was working then?
- How do you utilize your talents and gifts?
- What gets in the way of you fulfilling your goals and dreams?
- How do you utilize your gifts and talents?
- Describe a time when you felt truly alive.
- What kind of exercise or spiritual practice do you have? How is that working for you?
- Are you fulfilling your true aspirations, your deeper hunger?
- How do you tap into your assets when you are in challenging situations?
